Dear Community, I‘d like to invite you into forming Tower Defense vision that you would love to play!
Please, keep in mind:
It must create additional value to our CU assets, should be connected with IP, but it‘s a side game with strong other Communities attraction loop, so we should not aim to cover ALL CU NFTs usage
Since this is invitation for discussion, assume that there are no costs of making it and deep dive into discussions
How are we NOT making this like NOW? This sounds fun. Like I would play this because it is something we have brought up in community discussions A LOT. A tower defense game is something we have had multiple conversations about (as well as an RTS). If we did this, we could get the FUN back in the CU. IMO.
I honestly have been hoping for a while we could get some real strategy games in this mix but we never got there. I see this as a win.
Now this said, the treasury is tapped. So, doing this is a matter of getting independent funding, but from an IP standpoint we should approve the use of the IP for the developers.
How do you think about the part where Souls could be used in Tower Defense, but with improved utility from multiple mythic parts and high stats including gems?
But we, as a Community, need to form the vision, roadmap together, then scope and estimates can come into play.
What’s obvious is that significant part is already done.
Lovely TD with a lot of work already made behind, I like it and now I want it too.
I like the fact that CU is part of it and maybe our lands/unicorns too ?
Economy model looks fine with no emission, wondering how it could do with our small player base.
To be crystal clear - a year ago I bought dummy TD version with editor mode to work on finding challenging gameplay without involving developer. Seems like that dev used some open source methods to make what I bought.
Some people used part of same methods (2-13 years ago), but there is nothing related to our Tower Defense.
The only thing that will be used in the future from version I bought is Editor mode (obviously I bought it for that reason) for efficiency and it’s mentioned in GitBook (tools efficiency part).
Love the idea. I’ve already played the demo before I even finished reading the proposal. Seems like it could be bootstrapped or developed fairly efficiently. I’m definitely for this moving forward for further refinement.
